We are looking for an Investment Analyst to join Smart Media in Riyadh — someone who reads the numbers before the decisions are made, and turns an idea into a model that can be built on.

Responsibilities

  • Build financial models for projects and investment opportunities from scratch
  • Prepare feasibility studies: assumptions, cash flows, break-even and expected return
  • Analyse budgets against actual cost and explain the variances
  • Evaluate new opportunities and partnerships, and give a written recommendation built on numbers
  • Produce regular reports for management that explain what the numbers mean, not just what they are
  • Follow the market and the sector for whatever bears on our decisions
  • Work with operations and project teams so work is priced on a real cost base

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Investment or Economics
  • Full command of Excel — functions, data tables, and model building
  • Able to produce a financial model and a feasibility study independently
  • Precise with numbers, and able to explain them in plain language
  • Years of experience are not required — the skill and the financial background are what count, and fresh graduates are welcome

المهام

  • بناء النماذج المالية للمشاريع والفرص الاستثمارية من الصفر
  • إعداد دراسات الجدوى: الافتراضات، التدفقات النقدية، نقطة التعادل، والعائد المتوقع
  • تحليل الموازنات والتكاليف الفعلية ومقارنتها بالمخطط، وتفسير الفروقات
  • تقييم الفرص والشراكات الجديدة وتقديم توصية مكتوبة تُبنى على أرقام
  • إعداد تقارير مالية دورية للإدارة تشرح ما تعنيه الأرقام لا أن تعرضها فقط
  • متابعة السوق والقطاع واستخلاص ما يؤثر على قراراتنا
  • العمل مع فرق العمليات والمشاريع لتسعير الأعمال على أساس تكلفة صحيحة

المتطلبات

  • بكالوريوس في المالية أو المحاسبة أو الاستثمار أو الاقتصاد
  • إتقان تام لبرنامج Excel — الدوال، جداول البيانات، وبناء النماذج
  • القدرة على إعداد نموذج مالي ودراسة جدوى بشكل مستقل
  • دقة في التعامل مع الأرقام وقدرة على شرحها بلغة مفهومة
  • سنوات الخبرة غير مشترطة — المهارة والخلفية المالية هي الأساس، والخريجون الجدد مرحّب بهم
