We are looking for a Graphic Designer to join the production team at Smart Media in Riyadh, designing for real campaigns and real brands that go out in front of an audience — not work that stays in a folder.

Responsibilities

  • Design campaign material for digital platforms and print, serving the idea and not only the surface
  • Hold each client's visual identity, and build on it where the brief allows
  • Develop visual concepts with the art director, bringing more than one route to an idea
  • Prepare files for print and publishing in the right sizes and formats
  • Coordinate with motion, production and content for a complete delivery
  • Take feedback and turn changes around within the agreed deadlines
  • Keep working files named, ordered and archived so someone else can find them

Requirements

  • At least 3 years in design, agency side preferred
  • Strong Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
  • A real sense of composition, spacing and visual hierarchy
  • Confident Arabic and English typesetting, and comfortable with Arabic type
  • A portfolio that shows the thinking behind the work, not only the result
  • Based in Riyadh, or willing to relocate

Preferred

  • Working knowledge of motion basics (After Effects)
  • Experience building visual identities and their guidelines
  • Experience with government projects and their standards

المهام

  • تصميم مواد الحملات للمنصات الرقمية والمطبوعات بما يخدم فكرة الحملة لا شكلها فقط
  • الالتزام بالهوية البصرية لكل عميل، والبناء عليها حين يسمح الموجز
  • تطوير المفاهيم البصرية مع المدير الفني وتقديم أكثر من اتجاه للفكرة الواحدة
  • تجهيز الملفات للطباعة والنشر بالمقاسات والصيغ الصحيحة
  • التنسيق مع فرق الموشن والإنتاج والمحتوى لتسليم متكامل
  • استقبال الملاحظات وتنفيذ التعديلات ضمن المواعيد المتّفق عليها
  • ترتيب ملفات العمل وتسميتها وأرشفتها بحيث يجدها غيرك

المتطلبات

  • خبرة لا تقل عن 3 سنوات في التصميم، ويفضّل داخل وكالة
  • إتقان Adobe Illustrator و Photoshop و InDesign
  • حسّ قوي في التكوين والمسافات والتدرّج البصري
  • إتقان التنضيد العربي والإنجليزي والتعامل مع الخطوط العربية
  • معرض أعمال يوضح التفكير خلف التصميم لا النتيجة وحدها
  • الإقامة في الرياض أو الاستعداد للانتقال إليها

يُفضّل

  • إلمام بأساسيات الموشن جرافيك (After Effects)
  • خبرة في تصميم الهويات البصرية ودلائل استخدامها
  • خبرة بمشاريع الجهات الحكومية ومعاييرها
